Contracts & documents
Documents that hold up when it matters
A contract or letter that is legally flawed — or not tailored to your specific situation — becomes a weak link the moment a dispute arises. We draft legal documents that are legally sound, aligned with your business operations and able to withstand enforcement or challenge.
Generic templates from the internet are often too broad: they lack industry-specific provisions, recent case law or considered choices on points such as limitation of liability, payment clauses and termination rules. We sharpen the focus on your risks and your business model.
What we draft for you
- Contracts — sale, services, assignment agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs and more.
- General terms and conditions — tailored to your industry, with payment provisions, limitation of liability and a collection clause where appropriate.
- Tenancy agreements — residential and commercial property; see also drafting tenancy agreements.
- Notice of default — formal notification in the event of non-performance, with correct deadlines and wording that stands up legally.
- Demand letter / formal notice — the written step before escalation or handover to a collection agency.
- Termination letters — correct termination of contracts, employment relationships or service agreements in accordance with the applicable rules.
- Other legal correspondence — letters of liability, notices of dissolution, letters of protest.
How we work
- Intake — a brief overview of your situation, the other party and your objective.
- Draft — we prepare an initial version, sometimes using an existing model as a starting point (e.g. a ROZ model for tenancy agreements).
- Feedback — you respond to the draft; we incorporate your comments and refine the document.
- Final version — the finished document is ready for signing or sending.
Where necessary, we combine this with legal advice on enforcement or dispute scenarios — so you know what to expect if the other party does not cooperate.
Frequently asked questions
Can't I just use a free template?
Templates are a starting point, but rarely fit for purpose. They lack tailoring to your industry, specific risks and current case law. We use an existing draft as a starting point and sharpen it to what is actually relevant for your situation.
Can I have an existing contract reviewed?
Yes, we also offer review and assessment of existing documents. We identify risks, weak clauses and points to address in negotiation.
What else can I come to you for besides contracts?
Also for general terms and conditions, notices of default, demand letters, termination letters and other legal correspondence. Where necessary, we link this to advice on enforcement or dispute scenarios.
